And so, um,
My buddy who's a naturopath there was like, you have to get this active skin stuff.
It came in a gel and he's like, just keep it on there.
And, you know, he uses, he literally would spray his body down after he got out of the water.
So all these years later, and then I, you know, you and I connected and I'm like, you have to come on and talk about this.
So that's my fun little hypochlorous story.
But tell us what you told me off the air.
Like, how did this unfold that timeline as far as it coming to the States?
Yeah.
It doesn't sting.
I bought it at a surf shop.
Yeah.
That's where I found it was like right on the counter next to the, you know, sunblocks.
And the thing that I was researching for this episode, and I have been hesitant to spray it on my face before I put on the rest of my skincare because I am very concerned about the skin barrier and the microbiome.
And I didn't want to disrupt that because I worked so hard to heal my skin barrier.
But it doesn't, it only kills the bugs we don't want.
Talk about that, how like it preserves the good guys.
Ah, okay.
So it's really, you know, you go to the store now like Ulta and you look at all the skincare and somebody seems to have a hypochlorous acid product and rarely is it in isolation.
It's usually in a mix.
