Everything, and I've had this with many patients.
Everything is confrontational.
I could be presenting their lab work to them, showing them,
That they're like, you know, here's the lab markers that are off and here's the lifestyle behavior that's related to that.
They get defensive.
I've had male patients yell at me.
I've had male patients threaten to punch me.
I've had male patients get up and storm out only to call back later.
In every situation, actually, all apologies.
I've had male patients threaten me, like come across my desk threatening me.
And then...
their wives call me or they call me and they're like, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry.
I don't know what came over me, but I can tell by looking at their labs what came over them.
And I'm not justifying it or saying it's okay, but it is just kind of this like...
Like you're talking to your husband and he's kind of dull and flat, but then all of a sudden he's hot, he's pissy, and he's... And you're just like, whoa, dude, what the frick is wrong with you?
And it's really easy to fight back, right?
Because I'm just like, what?
You feel like you got kind of smacked by the person who's your calm.
And then you're...
I'm in perimenopause and then it starts, right?
