And they were going to make him wait in the lobby.
And I said, no, I thought he was having a heart attack.
And I said, I think he's having a cardiovascular event.
So they whisk him right back.
Here's a pearl.
If you are suspect of having a cardiovascular event, you tell them that because they will get you right in.
I personally got pneumonia once and thought I was having a cardiovascular event.
They got me right in.
So what they told me when I got back there was if you want to avoid the actual lobby and the wait times, call 911 and get an ambulance.
Now, again, not medical advice because I know ambulances can sometimes not be covered by insurance and you end up with an enormous crazy bill.
But just so you know, this is what the doctors in the ER told me years ago.
If you want to get somebody in fast because you are worried about a true cardiovascular event or like they're going to die,
you call 911 and you get an ambulance there.
I don't know how long the ambulance is going to take.
So again, do not hold me liable for this.
I'm just sharing with you what I was told, that you would bypass.
Usually, they take them in the back way.
So they get right in and they gain entrance to the actual ER without having to come in, register, and sit in the lobby.
That's just what I was told.
So you take it for what it is.
