Thanks for the acknowledgement.
It's great to be back.
Only if I get paid like a doctor, but otherwise, Vince.
Okay.
Bearing in mind we've known each other for probably 30 years before.
I think it's really interesting when you're talking about behaviour and you're not a bad person, you know,
Like, if you throw my hands up and say, in the police, there was no distinction.
You were just fucking bad, you know, and you'd lock them up and you'd overlook that.
Well, you didn't have time to concern yourself about it, did you?
So I was in the police for 29 years.
And as I mentioned the last time I was here a couple of years ago, I left.
I'm not going to laugh.
I'm not going to sit here and laugh.
Go on.
So I left because I was pushed off a roof.
Literally.
They're literally a single story, a two story building and got a fractured skull, fractured ribs, three crushed vertebrae in the spine, fractured your left leg, just a real mess.
And so I was pensioned out as a result of that.
I'm chasing some baddies for an assault and rob.
But I was in hostage negotiator for eight years, worked in domestic violence, domestic violence policy reform for a number of years when I was on secondment to the New South Wales Department of the Premier and Cabinet, which taught me a lot about politics and the way it impacts on individuals in society, especially on police.
