So like 10 years, maybe.
A little more than 10 years.
Wow.
I mean, that'll cause some gut issues.
So like what you described a moment ago of like shame, sadness, that's how I felt.
And so then the way that I dealt with it, I think other people handle these things in different ways.
So for me, it was like, I'm going to show you.
Achieve.
I'm going to show you with such ridiculous achievements that you won't be able to deny.
Wow.
Right.
So I mean.
Anger fueled.
Yeah, kind of.
So I accomplished everything and more that I could have possibly accomplished.
I went to the number one, my number one choice for residency for internal medicine, Northwestern.
Out of 60 brilliant doctors that I would beg to be my own doctor if I needed someone.
I actually won the highest award out of all of them.
And then I went on a grant with the NIH at arguably the number one school of public health in the country at the University of North Carolina.
So I was like working at the School of Public Health on this grant from the NIH.
