What would my life have been like if I had only known?
My parents had only done something back when I was eight.
And so there's a real mourning of that.
usually it lasts six to eight weeks, something like that.
It's a reactive grieving.
And then most people, fairly suddenly, and again, people accuse them of being bipolar, to where they say, you know, I regret my life to this point, and henceforth, I'm going to lead a life without regret.
I'm going to do everything I want.
Time's a-wasting.
I'm going to lead the fullest life imaginable.
So with treatment, you get rid of having to contend with RSD.
It frees people up tremendously to do what they always wanted to do.
Now, most people, I'd say three out of four people, really don't know what they desire.
They have no idea.
They're forth to do.
And so through those slopes,
I flip it around and ask them, what do you regret?
I have them do a guided affective imagery.
Imagine yourself, you're 85 years old, sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair with a lifelong friend.
And he starts the following sentence.
You know, knowing all that I know now at the end of my life,
