Looks like the position comes very naturally to him, even though I would say he's more of a natural center fielder.

And I think Connor would say the same thing about himself because of his ability to run.

He made some diving catches against Boston the same day that he had the two home runs, the moonshots.

He had two plays at short for two easy outs, looked effortless, and then he threw one in the dirt and had a throwing error.

I think you're going to see that.

I think you're going to see a guy who's still getting comfortable fielding ground balls from major league hitters, that the game's going to speed up on him.

And I think the thing about Connor Griffin that seems to amaze everyone, but the guy who points it out repeatedly, is the adjustments.

that Connor Griffin can make on the fly, whether it's at the plate or in the field.

Donnie Kelly points it out on an almost daily basis that how impressed he is that this is a guy who adapts very easily to his surroundings and makes adjustments mid-game, maybe from one bat to the next or from one play short to the next.

So I don't think it's going to be an issue.

He looks the part.

He's got a great arm.

He's very fluid.

He can move.

He's got good range.

Will he eventually someday outgrow
