But I've gotten this vibe that they like him, but they're just not enthralled enough to take him at 21.
There are some prospects.
I know that they love, that I think are firmly in play at 21.
But I just don't think Ty Simpson is.
And there's a few limitations there.
You know, the durability I've talked about, that's come up multiple times.
The tape at the end of the season, I mean, he just fell off, man, in significant fashion from the mental processing standpoint, from winning inside the pocket, from managing the pocket.
There was a lot that really...
But I do think the Steelers were impressed by his work on the board.
I think that they thought he was very smart when given situational calls within that meeting.
I think he did a very nice job.
And I think they're interested in him at their own value.
But I don't think that value is the 21st overall pick from what I'm hearing.
I mean, he is the type of quarterback prospect that is going to be polarizing in a lot of ways.
Much like, you know, when we talked about Dart and Shuck last year and Shador Sanders, too, I think you could throw into that bucket because he was talked about in the same kind of class as those two.
Those guys were polarizing players.
And, you know, I think that you get into that bottom half first round, early second round range by having things that you obviously do well.
And there's things he does do well.
