I had The Economist, they have this espresso app it's called, and it's just like four or five paragraphs of what's going on around the world, right?
So I'm thinking it's harmless, whatever, but it was wearing on me.
And so I was like, I want to stop doing that.
I need to replace this with some behavior though.
So what I was actually doing, I think as I was getting up, I would meditate and then I would read the news is like terrible, like two opposite, terrible, there's a terrible pairing.
So instead what I started doing is I got rid of the app.
I got rid of the service and I replaced it with reading.
I think what it was, my adaptation was, oh, I want to get up in the morning and I want like,
I want to feel like I'm getting into the day.
I'm starting the day off right or whatever.
And I don't know, having that information, you know, I was like, when your dad read the newspaper in the morning or something, there's something around that.
I don't know, but I replaced it with reading.
So it was like, okay, now that's a behavior.
I'm reading books that have nothing to do with what's going on in the world right now.
And it's more about ideas and it kind of gets my mind going for the day because this is what I do.
So that was very successful.
And it's like, that's helped me a lot.
Like my days go, my mornings go so much better now.
