The reason I was asking about the hotter loads is one of the complaints that the guy that sold me that .22 race gun that I'm playing with was that it wouldn't work with standard velocity rounds.

And I told him, I was like, hey, when you bought this, I mean, I looked at the documentation he got with it.

It said to use high-velocity rounds.

Yeah, I mean, it's got to cycle that slide.

It's got to comp on it for whatever reason to tame that massive recoil from a .22 long rifle.

But it does need high velocities.

I was shooting CCI mini mags, which, as you said, is 13-something.

And those were cycling.

And they were cycling pretty good.

I would love to try, though, some of that 15, 16, and up.

I'm going to have to do a little research, maybe find it online.

I think this is the gun that would really... The higher the velocity, the better.

I mean, it's just built for it.
