I was sad enough to look up Ipswich's next home game in the hope that it would be fairly soon and they would catch the brunt of all this rain that we've been having and they'd have to call it off.
Two fingers to you lot for being so unpleasant about us for being a tin pot club or something.
They haven't got a match until the end of February at home.
One other thing on this.
I never really bothered.
But there has been talk about the fact that Portsmouth is on an island.
completely by large expanses of water and we have apparently quite a high water table I think we all kind of know what that is and yet most of the serious flooding that's been happening in the Hampshire area seems to be inland with villages under three feet of water and I haven't heard of any flooding some big stats some standing water and some big puddles but no actual flooding on the island itself on the island itself
And I think if you've got hills and valleys...
Then the water can obviously collect and run down.
But I think, you know, the high point of the island of Portsea is probably about six feet, isn't it?
You know, compared to inland.
And Dorset is positively corrugated, isn't it?
