People are going to start to get tired of the Ingleson thing fairly soon.

Either something's going to happen or nothing's going to happen.

And it will be nice when we get to February the 2nd, because we'll know one way or the other.

At the moment, it just seems to be hanging on and hanging on and hanging on.

And because of the growing likelihood that we might be disappointed, then he might choose somebody else over us.

That always hurts, doesn't it?

Of course it does.

And if he does, we'll have to live with that slight disappointment.

We can say to ourselves, oh, well, he's not that good.

And we've got plenty of cover coming anyway.

We can say all of those things.

But if a player appears to choose another club over our club, then we don't feel too good about it.

I've just got one personal thing I want to throw in and it's been in my mind for a long time.

So I'm going to spit it out.

And it's simply this.

We should be proud of being in the championship because there are people who know more about football than me.

And I dare say you good listener who say that the championship is the fifth best league in the world.

Well, maybe it is.

And maybe it is proud and it is strong and it is well fought.
