We're going to do the little things every single day.
And those things add up in the end.
And you support the player and understand, you know, know when you're going to give them a day off.
Know when they're, you know, have a gauge when they're, you know, going through things.
I mean, a part of my career, the times where I had trouble or when I went into little funks,
I was tired.
You know what I mean?
I'm playing at 165 pounds and, and the time we were playing, you know, there's no pitch clock.
It's four hour games.
It's, it's,
You know, we're 99% of the time we're playing Sunday night games and things like that.
So I was fortunate that all my managers were great and seeing when I was tired, you know, they'd give me a day off before an off day.
So I get two days to get back and things like that.
So I think it's just a gauge of everyone, you know, pitchers when they're hanging, when they need a day, when they're overworked, just it's kind of a nonstop monitor of,
keeping your 26 guys afloat and pulling in the right direction for a long period of time.
It's hard to do, man.
There's so many times throughout the year where
you know, you're, you're asking yourself if you're, if you're good, but if you lost it, if, if you're, you know, you don't know how to help the team, but then there's times in the year where you carry the team.
So if you're managing that, you, you just gotta, you know, keep them going, keep them positive, keep them pulling in the right direction, always be the voice of calm and, and, and, you know,
understand that the process will play out if you do the right things day in and day out.
