My dad had a rule.
We were not allowed to get a license until we drove with him in the snow.
So I got my license six months after I could have gotten it because he refused to let me drive until he saw me drive in the snow.
But you learned so much from that.
Yeah, absolutely.
Because you can be going along all this, or you turn the wheel and it just goes straight.
They'd swing by.
We used to have cops watch.
They'd hang out and whatever.
My mom and dad used to have to drive me to work, and I worked at like a roll king kind of place.
And they got sick and tired of having to drive me, and I couldn't find what I wanted to buy.
I mean, I had some money and stuff, you know.
And we're in there one night, and I would close the store, and there's five or six of us that would close the store.
And right before we go to lock the doors, I see my mom and dad start walking in.
I'm like, oh, cool.
And dad comes in.
He hands me a set of keys.
And he goes, we got tired of driving you around.
We bought you a new car.
Of course, everybody around would be like, let's get the store closed up.
