When I grew up in Illinois, we just went to Latos Hardware and just grabbed off the shelf what we wanted and went up and paid for it and walked out.
I mean, there was no ID.
They knew what you were going to do.
Then again, I also bought my mom cigarettes when I was a kid, too.
