We had to make this happen because of the request.
But look at this return that we got.
Unfortunately, the return won't bear official fruit for another couple of years.
And then again, what do they do?
Like if you keep the one piece, but let's say if it's a four type return, are you keeping the one piece that's the primary piece and packaging up the rest with other assets in order to make your team better now?
We obviously don't know that yet, but again, right now it seems like the best return is futures driven.
Which would kind of veer them back into this rebuild all over again type scenario, which I'm sure fans are not going to be overly thrilled about.
Yeah, and that's the trickle slash domino effect out of this.
You know, because he's got, what, one year to go?
Debrinkit, yeah.
So, yeah, now you get to a scenario where if you're not utilizing some of these assets to help in the immediate...
Well, now you've got two pieces that you can move out.
You'll get a hell of a return for both of these guys.
But now it just symbolizes this team going in a totally different direction than they wanted to.
It's going back to the whole rebuild discussion.
And, again, I don't know how that's going to be received publicly by the fan base.
I imagine it won't be great.
It's basically Buffalo 2.0 now in Detroit.
Utah and San Jose are two interesting ones for me because I think...
utah's willing like they want to take the next steps they want it they want to take a big swing they've got the assets to do it i don't know how many of those assets they'd be willing to move for uh larkin because for robert thomas everyone was talking about simashev and then ya and aginla and and and another kid i can't remember his name yeah they only wanted one they were only willing to move one of those pieces
