The routineness thing is definitely going to be way easier.
And by the end of the week, we could not get the routineness thing working.
And the risks was amazing.
Looking back, it was terrible compared to what we have now.
But given that this was the first time anyone had ever seen this, it was amazing.
And so I was totally wrong about the roadmap of what I absolutely had planned out.
building out the routineness feature now we have that feature now we finally worked out how to do it but at the time i'd already made a roadmap for that and it was absolutely not the right thing to do and that's happened more than once in fact last time i think the last trip i was right in my prediction of where which of the few things that we came into there to test
We were going to do.
But I think every other time I've been wrong in that I've been overruled by the team has said, no, we don't think this is the right way.
And I've been convinced.
And in hindsight, it has always been the correct choice.
Looking back at some of the features that we nearly built, I'm like, God, I'm glad we didn't waste three months building that.
The team has prevented me from making a good number of mistakes.
A couple of times I've been right.
A couple of times I've pushed through things that have been the right call.
But very often they've pushed for what they thought was the best thing.
And most of the time, more than half of the time, they've been dead right.
I still get the credit for hiring them, but they definitely get the credit for talking me off a number of ledgers.
The ability for us to simulate what is going to happen is continuing to push forward.
We've always been getting feedback of this is the right thing to do.
