So they're making the point, like, you know, this has to be worth something in terms of mitigation.

And it always is rewarded.

loading up a cargo in brazil to head for limerick so yeah this is the mv royal which is a 200 meter long maltese flagship so it's a it's a bulk carrier it's actually it's quite big um i'd say anyone going out to it would see it from a long way off no doubt um so that was that was important the amazon um and it was taking on something like 40 000 tons of bauxite which is the ore that's used to manufacture aluminium and that was heading to the factory in oganesh in in county limerick

That's where the boat was going and presumably it was going to dock there and offload whatever amount, whether it was all of it.

I imagine most of it was destined for there.

And so they loaded up, basically there was three of the Philippine nationals crew who were on board.

Like one of them we know was, his wages was a thousand euro a month.

They were all offered big money, like the equivalent in Philippine pesos of something like nearly 140,000 euro.

This is what was mentioned in court in one of the hearings, how much they were getting.

And so they basically... They loaded up the 600 kilos.

Now, this is estimate because, as we'll find out, the drugs were never actually found.

Yeah.

So they loaded up anyway the 600 kilos and they stored it in the Boson's store.

So... And that guy was actually a fellow called Christopher Ampo.

He was 44, has a wife, two kids at home who depend on him.

This is all heard in court.

And so...

he was basically keeping it on board.

Yeah, and there's another chap, Hans Pangehen, who's 36, and he'd taken on the responsibility of paying back seven grand for his four-year-old niece's chemotherapy.
