OpenAI is changing course as the AI race intensifies.
In an internal memo, the company's chief of applications said that OpenAI needs to ditch its side quests in order to, quote, nail productivity on the business front.
That new strategy includes building a super app that combines ChatGPT, Codex, and the Atlas browser.
The company is also planning to double its headcount by the end of the year as it works to keep up with Anthropic.
