I looked up the difference between carpaccio and sashimi on the way here, just to make sure that I knew they were different things.
And apparently it's all in season.
Carpaccio is, oh, it's got the whole kind of salt, acid, fat, heat thing going on.
And sashimi is unadorned.
And only fish.
It's a nice way to start a meal, the sort of raw, like fresh tasting.
I'm big on fresh tastes.
I always want something a little bit acidic going on.
