And imagine trying to take exams in a hot, stifling exam hall, trying to think about your future.
It's not a good place to be.
Well, you know, it's very clear that, you know, things are hotter now than they were.
And that's primarily because our greenhouse gas emissions, primarily from burning fossil fuels, are making every summer and every heatwave hotter than they would have been in a world without those emissions.
And so, yes, we need to adapt
to what's going on now and to deal with the heat better.
But for the future, the heat waves are just going to get hotter and hotter and hotter until we manage to reach global net zero greenhouse gas emissions and stabilise the climate.
