I will say the screenwriter in me thinks great way to get pesky cell phones out of a script.
EMP.
Because they are so annoying when you're writing a script.
Because the question is always like, why wouldn't they just look this up?
Why wouldn't they just call somebody?
I'm doing a rom-com.
Yeah.
And I want them to be more like, but we're just going to start it with an EMP.
But then like, it's pretty much a straight rom-com from the 80s.
Honestly.
I'd watch it.
