I think that's a tender spot for my dad to this day.
They planned to do it, but they were waiting till they were 70.
So to your point, there are some things you don't need to be doing when you're younger because you don't need to be spending the money on it, the time on it.
You've got to be wise.
But there are some things we're waiting on this romanticized, idealized version of what life will be when.
And the reality is you don't know what life will be then.
You think you know.
And you can plan accordingly.
However, there are some things you need to fully engage and invest in right now.
In the season of life God has given you because we don't know.
We don't know.
He was a good dad, is a good dad, grandfather and now great grandfather.
So we're blessed.
