I think the fact that they didn't tells you why it would have been so good if they could have done.
This becomes a circular argument, but if they had gone ahead with it,
it would have been because they had the resources and the chance to do it properly.
So it was probably good they didn't for good reasons.
But if they had got to that point, because if Fred Vasseur and Todd looked at it and said, yeah, we can really do this, you can take that to the bank.
And it's still really difficult.
But those individuals are people who don't take lightly that sort of challenge.
So I think probably the best way to look at it is that was a team that should be, if things are working as they should and you have a connection between other single-seater category teams and F1 as they used to be, that's the obvious team to step up.
The fact they couldn't tells you how big that chasm was.
And that chasm's got ultimately bigger because you don't,
you don't step up anymore.
Even if an F2 team wanted to do F1, it would be effectively, it's a startup team.
So that tells you a lot about the situation, doesn't it?
But it would have been nice, but just wasn't possible.
It's probably very good they didn't go ahead or they'd have probably lost a lot of money.
Got out of business.
Exactly, because they'll have known how dangerous it would have been to do it.
So yeah, would have been good, but it would have been good because it would have worked.
Didn't happen because it wouldn't have worked.
So it was good it didn't work.
