All right, Josh, the first question for you from Jake Britton.
Why wasn't a full safety car thrown when Russell DNF'd?
John, a question from Kev T. Given the undeniable pace and ability Kimi Antonelli is now showing, is George Russell now basically Daniel Ricciardo?
Albeit with a much better chance of having a world championship before being inevitably overtaken by the generational talent.
Question from G Carol that I'll take.
Do you think Liam Lawson is being given enough credit for his tyre whispering?
It seems he has a good understanding of the tyres and making them last.
Long stint on the softs and under pressure from Gasly at the end to secure another points finish.
He is pretty good on the tyres actually, although actually in this race I don't think he needs a great deal of credit for it because the softs basically could do the whole race given it's a low energy track and the tyres
temperatures and everything so actually I don't think that was a in itself a great achievement what was a really good achievement is he had some difficult phases in that race for him so he weathered them well and also he just needed to lap consistently at a good pace and not make mistakes to let Gasly get into range so he gets tremendous credit for that it was a really well executed race and bear in mind of course Lawson also was compromised at the start of the
weekend by the hydraulic problem he had that led to him stopping on track in FP1 then the power unit changed so yeah definitely plenty of credit for Lawson this weekend I wouldn't say for that specifically I don't think he had a tyre whisper a great deal just because of the way the tyres were working at this track this weekend Josh question from Nicholas Langdon is it time to bring back Valtteri Bottas Sympathy Corner he seemed to have a shocker of a weekend
right john a question from motorsport mike should george russell get a final penalty for throwing the headrest in disgust heat of the moment kind of thing because there was some news on this after the race wasn't there yeah he was he was fine actually uh the stewards i've got the document in front of me here he was fine you just found this out just as i did because i didn't notice this until about five minutes ago
The next question from Dwayne Elverum says, a technical question regarding the VSC.
Lewis Hamilton was two plus seconds in closing behind Max Verstappen when the VSC started and then moved variously between three and one second back during the VSC period.
