I just asked for a 30% discount and boom, I got one.
And it made me wonder, like, what's really going on over there?
If on the other hand, you say, I can give you a 30% discount if you are willing to do this, if you're willing to provide a testimonial for me in my next edition of whatever, just a second, I got a cough.
That changes the equation.
Now they're not going to say,
I don't know what's going on over there.
Now they're going to say, well, I did have to give them a testimonial, but I got 30% off in exchange.
Exchanges make sense to people.

Why didn't you want full freight?
Was that price a real price in the first place?
To avoid that, when you give something, get something back.
Even if you don't get it, ask for it.
The other person will feel like you're more sincere and you have more integrity.
Absolutely.
And you're not being pushy.
You're just standing up for the value of the thing that you built and you put your sweat and time into.
You're not.
