So if the guy changes direction, there's a good chance if you're not in the perfect position, you're going to collide with him.
Is that collision your shoulder on his head or your head on his head?
There's a higher risk because when you sprint up like that to make a tackle, you're not in complete control of your body.
You're just trying to smack a guy.
And if he changes direction, you're vulnerable to hitting the guy in the head and then it's yellow or red card territory.
The second one as well is, I guess, that you're trying to get off the line so hard on the blitz that you often creep offside.
Because it's all about taking away the space.
So you're on the verge of offside the whole game.
So there's no question at some point the ref's going to ping you a few times to keep you honest.
And I suppose, like...
They've lived on that the whole season.
So there are times when they're under the cosh, they tend to give up offside penalties because they're trying to get up and take away the space.
And one of the problems you have as well is if the other team win collisions against that blitz and they get a quick ball, you can't get off the line.
and this is why Leinster do really well if you watch it they attack every ruck like crazy not that they're going to win the ruck but it slows the ball down the scrum half can't clear it and that two seconds it takes for the other team to settle the ruck means the line's set and they're off the line if that ball is out like in a second they can't get off the line and then fellas are jumping out of the line trying to kill it off so yeah
A quick ball will cause lots of problems for you.
And again, you know, looking at Bordeaux, they have some big horses as well.
The physicality stakes will determine a lot of that, you know.
I thought his general play was good.
I mean, I thought the thing that let him down was his boot.
You know, he missed two very kickable kicks.
