We spent time in Sydney, Darwin, Adelaide, Melbourne.

Yeah, that's how they used to do it back then, you know.

Same with the flight engineers too, you know.

So they'd –

They'd pretty much, you know, they'd say, oh, right, my dad's name was Phil.

They'd be like, you know, all right, Phil, we're going to send you up to Darwin.

You know, you take the wife and the son up there.

You do a couple of years up there and then we'll look at bringing you down to Adelaide and, you know, we'll put you on a different airframe down there or whatever.

However, this is back a long time ago, you know, and so dad did that and, you know,

Eventually, then the whole thing went down with Ansett and he was basically retrenched.

And being a commercial pilot, they have what's called type ratings.

So for instance, he was qualified to fly 737-300 series.

And so depending on the type of aircraft is like where you can go, you know.

And at the time there wasn't much work for what he was qualified in.

So he then, they made the decision to move back to Albury where our family's based and he went into business with his brother.

Basically had a company that was, it's not like Tim Allen on home improvements, but it was a company called Winterburn Home Improvements and they used to make security doors and blinds, blinds,

That kind of sort of stuff, you know, they had a big factory.

I think they had about 30 guys working there.

Oh, shit.

Yeah, it was a pretty big concern.
