Think about those pictures.
You would be doing shots.
You would be pulling mental faces.
You'd be... It would be the... It was real life.
It was like the carnage from start to finish.
Whereas now you put up a carousel
of that night and it's like all the pictures before and a picture will not really go up if you think that you look if you think it's a bad picture of you we're not going to do that anymore everything's pure curated and then everyone ends up looking at it and being like right I need to make sure my life looks like that as well and there's so many
there is very much like it can go the other end where people are feeling like the pressure but I go like our mum's generations weren't doing as much as what our generation of mums do with our kids now but then is that all to do with the fact that the likes of jobs like social media have come in now and people like us pure grateful that we can spend so much time like if I compare how much time I get to spend with my kids compared to how much time my mother spent with me my mother my mum spent with me like it's night and day because she just never had that option
such not low attention spans but like they find they get bored so easily now because they're never bored yeah because it's always like we need to take them out we need to do something with them I would just be like go in for your pal and he's can play in the garden yeah absolutely and you would do that actually there was a story recently about like it was like a wee 10 year old boy or something and he had a social media addiction and he was scrolling for like 10 hours a day but then it was a picture of that wee boy and they were saying like his addiction whatever and I kind of go
Is that his fault, though?
Or is that the parents' fault?
But it's so addictive.
It's such a dopamine hit.
Even with Jack, sometimes I've felt like I've said, put that phone down.
Go and brush your teeth without watching your fucking phone.
Adults do it all the time as well.
yeah it's a tricky one I think you could you can answer one question and then you open up another one like I don't think it's ever going to be a definitive however am I for it being for not not until they're 16 that they don't get social media I am but I understand why it's realistically not going to happen yeah because then you still go well at 16 it's just going to hit you like a ton of bricks and you're going to go wow
Do you know what we should maybe just focus on is maybe just getting all the pedos off it.
