Ukraine says its air defenses intercepted 112 drones, but at least 15 made it through, striking several locations.

In Kharkiv Oblast, a Russian strike on a home killed a father and his three toddlers.

Their pregnant mother was injured.

Writing on X, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that each Russian strike, quote, undermines trust in everything being done diplomatically to end this war and proves that only strong pressure on Russia and clear security guarantees for Ukraine can stop the killings.

He said nothing else works.

There is now what's known as a whitelist where civilian and military users of Starlink in Ukraine must register their terminals.

Anton Sadyukov sells and adapts Starlink terminals.

He told newspaper The Kiev Independent it's already making a difference.

Right now, the entire front on the enemy's side has stopped, he says.

SpaceX cut off their technology, and this has been effective.

NPR visited a hospital and an undeclosed site in the east, where surgeon Oleksii Mikuljuk says cutting access to technology and tough economic sanctions are the only way to end the war.

Because war is money.

Zelensky said the $12 trillion scheme was presented by Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev, who manages Russia's sovereign wealth fund.

But Ukrainian economist Pavlo Shurenko says its enactment is highly unlikely as Russia's entire GDP in one year is only $2.3 trillion and Russia's economy is in tatters.

But, says Chirinko, the plan shows how Russia is trying to influence peace talks.
