And my impression was that I actually understood the English version better than the Spanish one.

And this is because I feel like the English version has been written in a more universal way.

But the Spanish version, she wanted to speak in the way that people from Veracruz speak.

And I think she does it very, very well because there are so many words that I have never heard or maybe I have not heard in that context

but they work perfectly well.

And I know exactly what she wants to say.

And it's very, very metaphorical.

It's brutal, it's sexual.

She has a lot of obscenities, but there is also a poetry to it that I found it lacks at times in the English version because of this universality of it.

And yeah, there is a lack of insults in a sense that are a bit more obvious.

I felt that it was quite enjoyable in a sense.

It's not an enjoyable experience because it's quite brutal, but it does drag you towards it because it's like the words are

flooding and in this sense it's like a hurricane had just come through you and you just have to keep going and you're just taken with it and it is written in a very colloquial way so it's almost like having a conversation and there is no difficulty to it and i i found out new ways of saying really horrible things but there are at the same time they can be a little bit funny they're brutal but

Yeah, it's like some really dark humor, if anything, because you find it ridiculous at times that they could call each other with such names.

But yeah, it's definitely not a hard thing, a hard thing to read if your sensitivity is not very fragile.

Yeah, and it is already published in Spanish, but it's not coming.

The translation is not coming until next year, 2021.

But it is a brilliant book from an author from Ecuador.
