I think one of the reasons so many people are so worried about reelection is because this has become their identity.
I think it's the same reason a lot of guys struggle when they get out of special forces or the SEAL teams or the NFL.
because it's become their identity.
It's who they believe they are.
And I think anytime you put your identity in something that can be taken from you, you're in trouble.
And that's why for me, man, I always try and come back to what is my identity, man?
And I'm an image bearer of God, man.
I'm a son of God.
I'm a husband.
I'm a father.
And that's what I try and put my identity in.
I'm an American.
