So I think you can convince him to stick around, do a little bit more of a traditional rebuild.
But I think the problem is if a front office executive comes in and wants to really drag this thing out, is he going to be interested?

He has to sit there and really think a lot about what he wants to do without having a lot of information about what the future holds for this organization.
And yeah, I think I think, you know, that was something that I believe it was that article with Joel Lorenzi over at The Athletic.
They kind of got an email clarification from from him where Michael Reitz have kind of tried to walk back that statement a little bit.
But I think the whole situation here is, like you said, it's very backward.
I mean, why would you look to bring somebody in and then immediately handcuff them to a head coach?
Do I think that there's a possibility they could find someone who is good at the job and wants Billy Donovan in house?

I think he's an extremely respected figure around the league.
We've seen that.
just through the interest in other jobs that he's received in the past handful of years.
So, you know, it's not out of the question, but it's also just like, why would, approaching things that way is obviously the big question fans have and media alike.
Like, why go into a search already putting restrictions on somebody?
I think that, and I think that's something Billy Donovan honestly might be thinking about as well.
