Anna Marie and I walked to school every single day.
And in fact, she told me at one point, a neighbor called my mom and was like, hey, I saw the girls walking to school.
Now Anna Marie was like 20 feet in front of little Elizabeth.
So Anna Marie remembers getting a talking to, like she needed to be with me.
This was no joke of a walk.
And there were no sidewalks.
I was definitely a free-range kid to the degree that it's a shock we survived.
I think we would if it weren't there, honestly.
No, if you were driving there, it's this like windy kind of main road through town.
I mean, there are like kind of grassy parts off of it and like rocky parts.
And especially if I was like often being kind of left standing.
And how old were you girls then?
I mean, I was probably six, seven, eight.
So then we get to, we also went to the first house we lived in.
I think I was probably five or six when we moved away.
And I, in a weird way, remember more of the outside of this house.
