There were no gatekeepers on it.

And you and I and Monica were like on the same page the whole time.

But I work in an industry where there are a shit ton of gatekeepers.

And also like you do right now have to make stuff that is commercially viable because it's so competitive and we're in a capitalistic world.

And so I'm often very torn between making something that is super creatively fulfilling or making the thing that I believe can make money.

I know.

One battle after another.

This is the thing is it's like they're new, mostly male actors.

Yeah, I hope so.

I mean, you and I are watching that French show Bureau of Legends.

Oh, was it?

I'm so impressed by it having been made.

A French show.

I don't really know the French landscape, but I'm like...

The scale of how big it feels.

And it's very cinematic and risky feeling.

I feel like, you know, the closest kind of version to it I can think of is Homeland, maybe.

Which is also an incredible show, but it still feels like this Americanized kind of, do you know what I'm saying?
