So there's respect there amongst men, like, to survive in this business for people to still care about you.
Like, this is my 30th summer.
I've been in this 30 years.
In terms of covering the culture, like, reviewing Diamond D albums and Chronic and interviewing fucking Coogee Rap on Election Day in 1992 when Clinton beat Bush and shit.
That's like a minute.
So like, you know, that's what it is.
So, you know, I think the longevity is important, but you know what I mean?
Like sometimes I don't think longevity is respected, but it doesn't really get the, uh, the big numbers acclaimed, but I'm here to try to do both.
I want to be double platinum and a legend and OG hip hop in general.
Here's my confession.
Like I thought, OK, pandemic.
Yeah, slow down.
I'm about to I'm about to get these cast that biography about my life and tell them how it really goes down and who I am.
I struggle with that, honestly.
Like I struggle with figuring out how to really tell my story in a way that feels organic.
It feels real.
I haven't really landed on that like POV of it.
But I'm getting there.
I want to do it, and it's going to be real.
