Yeah, I think that I think I've said this a lot and I probably said on your show that, first of all, I like I know I'm never going to be a GM.
Like I come to that conclusion.
I'm quite good with it.
But if I was, I always love the reward more than the risk.
I think you have to be smart with the risk you take and you have to be calculated and you have to have good reasons for the things that you do.
But I would love to be, if I was good enough to play or I was good enough to manage, I would love to do it in the Canadian market.
Maybe it's because I'm from here, but it's also like just the risks are high, but so are the rewards, right?
If you do it, it's such a special victory.
It's such an incredible thing.
Now, you know what's interesting is I was having this conversation today with someone who's in the league and they said that they don't know if they'd put up with that.
And one of the things they've kind of started to talk about is
You take a look at some of the managers who've been through Canada lately, like Mark Bergevin's having a difficult traction, job getting traction for any of the jobs.
You know, Pierre Dorian, you saw the reaction to him in Vancouver today.
John Ferguson, who was in Toronto.
You know, Dubas obviously landed on his feet.
But Peter Chiarelli, you know, Tree Living now has been on two teams.
He got a second chance.
Jim Benning is, you know, we don't really hear his name much anymore.
And I think it's fair to say that, you know, whatever you felt about the jobs that they did, the fact is that there seems to be a toll right now for not being successful in Canada.
that maybe it's more serious than not being successful in the States.
