I've trained that, but it doesn't guarantee anything.
So I think there's this whole, like, amazing mix of, like,
Like without sounding too woo-woo, like energy and kind of like circumstance and stuff out of your control that also contributes to that moment happening.
So as I said, like I love a challenge.
I love walking into that environment and like,
you know rather than being scared of it or too nervous or overawed by it just walking in and seeing what happens and I think that's where like things play out and sometimes they play out amazingly and you get these really cool highlights and memories and sometimes they're they're not great but like that's all part of it and I think it takes you to the next space.
Yeah, definitely.
And like,
What was it like?
It's thoughtless in a lot of ways.
Really?
It's more intuitive than anything.
And I think it's because you've probably been able to enter that space and just let go and not be kind of postulating about the future or thinking about the past, whether that's
like, things from a while ago that you brought in, like, I'm really nervous about this because I haven't trained well, or this shot's been really hard, or this bowler's been bowling really well to me, or whether it's, like, thoughts about the ball before and, oh, I didn't quite get that right.
And the same thing about thinking about the future too much, like, oh, what happens if I, like, if I don't do well, or what happens if the next ball is a really good ball and it gets me out?
Like, I think, you know, and everyone talks about this in their own way as an athlete, but
Like the ability to kind of just interact with what's in front of you in that very moment and do it intuitively because you've done all the work beforehand to kind of like hone those skills and give yourself the chance to, I guess, compete at that level.
When you can actually just drop into the moment, I mean, that's such a lovely feeling that doesn't always happen, I guess.
Yeah.
Pretty much, yeah.
