In 2023, she moved from the Chicago area to Leadville, Colorado to create opportunities for writing, hiking, and creativity.

She is a pastor of St.

George Episcopal Mission and co-founder of Sage Mountain Institute for Writing and Spirituality.

We asked Melissa what happened after everything went down with a broken leg in the Unleashed Secrets, and here's what she said.

Corey and I did get married, but now we're divorced.

Our divorce made it possible for me to move to Leadville, where I have rediscovered the joy of skiing.

I also don't try to keep secrets from my church.

I'm a better pastor when I let my whole self show up.
