Oh, this is going to be a nice profile, right?
That's how it is when you have these states that are so deeply in one party or the other.
It's so hard to get out of the vicious cycle.
And that's why it's going to be very disillusioning if I think two of the best chances for not Republicans, but independents to just try and break the cycle, even if you don't agree with Pratt and Hilton on 100% of things.
This is what scares California Democrats into being better, is having a little bit of competition.
And it's not going to work if you have Karen Bass and then like Tom Steyer or Javier Becerra stepping into these roles.
It's not going to work.

This woman is in such an incredible bubble.
And I think part of this is that you have people like Joe Scarborough meeting with Biden before the debate, long before the debate, actually.
coming back and saying, this is the best Joe Biden that I've ever seen.
You had the media being successfully bullied by the White House into basically dropping the story about whether or not Joe Biden was ailing and having serious cognitive decline in front of everyone's face.
And Joe Biden got used to that from the media.
And I think she is a little bit taken aback by the questions that she's getting on this, what was supposed to be clearly a very soft and warm PR tour for her book.
But of course, her book does deal with her role, though it's not an
omission of any guilt, but it deals with her role in what has to be considered one of the biggest scandals in presidential history here in the United States, which is that you had a president who was declining in front of everybody's eyes.
You had the media barely willing to touch the story and everyone around him denying it.
