Like, it's unbelievable.
It's amazing.
The selfishness.
Well, I was gonna say, I'm glad that the Pod Save guys are saying what they're saying now because it's just better for all of us to be honest about this.
But at the same time, part of the reason people are now willing to turn on Biden, including the media and the Bidens, is because the Bidens now have no hope of getting back into any position of power.
The family is powerless.
They can't peddle their influence because it means nothing.
And so the media has no reason to be nice to them, has no reason to be going in with kid gloves.
And that's what this all is about.
I mean, when Craig Melvin is doing better journalistic interviews than somebody who gets the first sit down, it's a sad statement.
I don't know, Megan, I'm watching this and I'm thinking, you may know more about this than I do, but at these big networks, women of a certain age see themselves as, because they're all center-left feminists,
see themselves in solidarity with other women who have, like, been through hardships who are also from the center left.
And so, she may be one of the few people in America that has any real empathy remaining for Jill Biden.
It may have been a deal with the publisher.
They want to keep getting access to the publisher.
I don't know.
But to me, I read that as her genuinely, like...
feeling deep empathy and almost like sistership with Jill Biden, which is hilarious and pathetic.
And it's why these networks are dinosaurs, because they still have some of these people in top interviewing positions who suck because they're so used to doing the back padding interviews that maybe flew 30 years ago.
But nobody, institutional trust is so low in the country right now that nobody has any appetite for this bullshit anymore.
