I was struggling.
I wasn't doing well.
Yes, I called myself a communist and a socialist, but I'm not now.
And that's where this would have been an opportunity for him to just go in front of the cameras.
And instead of denying anything or doing these artful dodges that weren't so artful as in last night, he could have just said, people don't care about the mistakes I made in my marriage.
They care that I am going to make their healthcare affordable.
They care that I'm going to take on the establishment on X, Y, and Z. I'm going to stop these wars.
That's what he could have done.
He's tried to do a little bit of both, as has his wife who said, I'm very upset that we're talking about this and not the issues.
But he could have just leaned into it and been like, I'm not even going to talk about it like you said, Megan.
And that would have been probably a way better, like we saw this with Tallarico last week.
Tallarico tried to do his cleanup tour, and you covered it, where he came out and said, of course I believe that there are only two sexes.
He's on tape saying there are six sexes, at least six sexes.
You can't do that if you're running these new campaigns, because the one thing people want to know is that you believe what you're saying that you believe.
That's the biggest problem for Plattner right now.
He needs to come across as at least being honest because once you lose that, they might not trust that you actually are going to make healthcare cheaper, that you actually are going to vote against wars.
That's how low institutional trust is.
You have to meet the moment.
The Kik stuff is weird.
I have no idea what Kik is by that description.
