However, we're going to talk about her again because we're going to give a little update because Corey Richens has now been sentenced.
So the previous episodes that we had done, she had not been sentenced yet.

So Corey Richens, we'll just do a little brief background in case you don't know that much about the case.
She was recently sentenced for the aggravated murder of her husband, Eric Richens.
She fatally poisoned him in March of 2022 at their home near Park City, Utah, by lacing a Moscow mule with about five times the lethal dose of fentanyl.
And if you listen to earlier episodes or you know more about this case, this was not the first time that she tried to poison him.
If you remember, she tried to give him a sandwich on Valentine's Day that was also laced with fentanyl, but that did not work.
I think he would just got sick, extremely ill from that, which and then Shane always questions because then he ended up texting friends, right?
Saying something to the effect of, I think she's trying to kill me.
Yet he continues to stay married to her and continues to eat food that she gives him.
Right.
Roughly a year after killing him, Corey self-publishes a children's book about children coping with grief titled Are You With Me?
Let's get to the sentencing.
So Corey Richens was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday, May 13th for the murder of her husband, Eric Richens.
She was sentenced on what would have been his 44th birthday.
So happy birthday to you.
Eric Richens up in heaven.
Your 44th birthday gift is your ex-wife is now being sentenced to life in prison.
But when you murder, I feel like there needs to be another term besides widow.
