And then you have he killed himself.

So then Steven Powell is convicted.

In June of 2012, this is the dad of Josh, Steven Powell, was convicted of voyeurism and sentenced to two and a half years in prison.

The child pornography charge was initially dismissed in 2012.

In 2014, the state appeals the court and reinstates that charge.

Then in 2015, Steven Powell was convicted of possession of child porn and sentenced to an additional five years in prison.

He was released from prison in July of 2017 after serving just seven years total, but he died of heart problems about a year later.

And I did read, because I read about his death, when he was taken to the hospital because he was having a heart attack, investigators went to the hospital because they were hoping to get some kind of deathbed confession.

I thought you were going to say the ambulance drove around in a bunch of circles.

They were like, we're not dropping this guy off.

that they could get some kind of last minute confession, like where's the body?

How was, you know, something, but he died of a heart attack and they got no further information.

So they didn't even got an opportunity to try that.
