0.7 millisecond advantage.

0.07 seconds.

0.07 second advantage.

So for all intents and purposes at the enhanced games broke the record.

Yes, he was doping.

Well, it wasn't really broken, Billie.

It's only broken in terms of what the Enhanced Games recognizes as broken.

It is not officially recognized.

So

Christian Gollumer, this Greek swimmer, is not suddenly the record holder.

Cam McAvoy's efforts are not suddenly wiped off the board.

What this means is that the Greek swimmer at the Enhanced Games gets that $1 million bonus prize, but the swim won't be counted as official.

Not only was he using banned substances, he also swam in a high-tech swimsuit that's actually been banned in Olympic competition.

You might remember in the mid-naughties that

A bunch of swimmers smashed world records in those super suits, Ian Thorpe being one of them.

Those swimsuits were officially banned from competition.

So at the Enhanced Games, we not only have the doping, we also have the banned gear.
