You know, it's like, and again, I want this to be understood and heard, not in a way that is about being selfish, right?

But we have to place value on things and we have to be able to talk about money.

Listen, I host a podcast and I love doing the podcast and I speak to the most successful women on the planet, but they still come into me and they don't want to talk about money.

And when we avoid the conversation of money, guess what happens?

Money avoids us.

And so you've got to be able to name it and claim it and talk to it so that you can like extrapolate the value from it.

So this is about the type of conversations that men have all

How many podcasts have I heard where they're talking about it?

And the thing is, women are amazing at making money.

They are amazing at creating value in companies.

I know this because I employ hundreds and hundreds of women.

But two things can be true at once.

Again, you can care about a cause deeply and do really meaningful work and care about the money.

You can care about money and a lot of other stuff.

And so, again, we don't need to say, oh, you know, that's gross.

I don't really want to talk about that stuff.

You know, the money will find me.

You're going to do good work and the money will come.

Guess what?

It ain't.
