Listen, here's the thing.
I know for a fact that when you are able to take a step back, because all families are different, right?
All families decide to put their energy in different places.
I am not somebody that is able to take my kids to and from school every day.
I am not at the parent galas.
I don't volunteer at the school.
If my kid is running a race, like I am there.
If it's something that's important to Lola or Gray or Lake or Rafi, I'll be there.
But the truth is that we've kind of been sucked into a lot of performative parenting.
That means that it's actually not about your family values.
It's what you think you're supposed to do.
So again, I think it's like a vision for anything.
What kind of family do I want to have?
I want a family who eats dinner together most nights.
That's important to me.
I like to sit there and be like, what happened in your day?
