We would have loved to win, but they did play great and it was fun to watch.
So what has been the reaction to this?
The reflecting pool is looking far from pristine.
It's been plagued by algal blooms and peeling paint.
That's despite having undergone a multi-million dollar resealing and painting project as part of America's 250th celebrations.
And it's set to be drained again.
That's after President Trump said that a group of vandals cut a massive slit in the pool, and that's what's led to its current condition.
But when pressed for evidence on that slit, the president told reporters the proof would be provided in court.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is one of the most popular tourist sites in D.C.
and was drained back in April when the president said he wanted to paint it what he called American flag blue, which he did.
But algal blooms grew and costs to renovate it.
Well, they ballooned to more than $16 million, according to federal contract data.
And with less than two weeks until July 4th celebrations, all eyes will be on the Capitol and this pool.
Ai, ai, ai, ai, niin se on.
