is you never want wisdom to just remain up here. If wisdom just stays in your mind, it's not wisdom. Wisdom is the application of knowledge. So everything that we receive up here, so it starts with the prayer, right? Inviting the Holy Spirit into your studying time. Then it comes with observation.

I'm asking all these questions and I'm going to trust Lord and I'm going to create space for that knowledge to drop down into my heart and become wisdom and let it resonate with my spirit and not just be something that I learned on a Wednesday or on a Sunday, but something that actually has the ability to change my life because your word is quite literally transformative.

all the time but if it's not dropping down to your heart it's religion any any biblical literacy that's apart from a pure heart is religiosity and so we prevent being religious when we allow knowledge and the things that we're asking to drop down into our hearts and then to become actions which is my last and final part which um actually don't i want to go into that real quick yeah

Yeah, we'll talk about that because I kind of wanted to talk about meditation too. Like it's not just about emptying yourself. It's filling yourself. And also this is the last thing I'll say about meditation is that meditation needs to be met with some sort of Holy Spirit conviction.

Just because you're giving space for the Holy Spirit to convict your heart doesn't mean that you're giving space for self-condemnation in all these areas where guilt and shame is coming into the picture. Create a space for the Holy Spirit to convict to because transformation sprouts from conviction. It's the seed of conviction that leads to a life of transformation.

But you get that in a place of rest, in a place of meditation and deep thinking and resonating and soaking in with the Word of God. Okay, cool. Last thing, application. So application is just literally taking everything that you just learned. So you prayed, you observed the text, you asked all the questions, you interpreted it, you meditated it, and now... You're acting it out.
