And so then from that, God declares a consequence, not because he has hatred for them or because he had some sort of malice or wrath towards them, but because God had to release a judgment in response to sin. But sin happens because God took a risk by giving us free will so he could experience true compassion with his creation. And we first have to understand why God created mankind in the first place. And it's because of one thing, one thing only, because of compassion. And in order to experience love, love cannot exist outside of the parameters of freedom. And so what that means is that when love comes into play, there also has to be a choice.
